Overall, living here has been a mixed bag with some major improvements recently, but also one significant drawback. On the positive side, the management keeps the property rightly maintained and they renovate most things when needed. The location used to feel a bit isolated, but they opened a Migros nearby last summer, which has been an absolute game changer for daily life. Construction noise can be quite annoying at times, but that's somewhat expected with the updates happening around the area. However, the biggest issue is security. My flat was broken into, and despite the property advertising 24/7 surveillance, there were actually no cameras or security measures in place, and management did absolutely nothing to help after the incident.
Great price/quality ratio. Supermarkets are close and public transports too. Only one washing/drying machine per building. Can only use coins. Administration is very slow.
It's a shared apartment! The price/quality is great and the most enjoyable thing is that you're almost near to every place in lausanne. I had one year being distracted and annoyed by a new construction project next to the building that's being said the experience was great overall !
The cleanliness really depends on the tenants. In 2024 I had a horrible flatmate and they did not clean the dishes, made a lot of noise, and make everything around dirty. The shared kitchen is good and has everything one needs to cook. Right now, my neighbors are awesome, but it is random. Commute to campus is great - I used to take metro for a year, but now I am biking given that the road is mostly flat. The maintenance is great, they fix everything fast and without additional payment. The price is the cheapest, I think it worth it. The only problem is the construction noise in the summer. I sleep with my window open, and in the morning it might be super loud and I wake up because of it.
