Les Triaudes (Nouveaux)

Overall great experience, would give 4.5/5. Convenience 5/5: super close to migros/denner (1 min), very close to two metro stations (2-4 min), 10 minute walk to rolex learning center (and the rest of the epfl campus), 15 minute commute to amphipole at UNIL. Also quite close to renens-gare (direct access by metro, about 10 min) Room: 4.75/5, slightly small studio but very well furnished, good quality, comfy, private, natural light, easy to clean, easy to decorate / make home, no issues overall Dorm: 4/5: looks nice, easy to access, secure (badge and key system), regular cleaning, good and cheap laundry system, big locker, easy garbage disposal with sorting/recycling, only minus is lack of common spaces for socialising or studying, which is a shame. Admin also takes care of pest control at no cost. However having to deep clean yourself when you leave is annoying and difficult, it should not be the tenant's responsibility to do more than a proper clean and tidy. Another minus is the difficulty to find a room there (you have to know someone leaving because applying on the website is seeminlgy impossible, and the administration doesn't take direct requests), so stay alert on the housing groupchats.
