I had a very good overall experience. The insulation and heating are excellent, ensuring a perfect indoor temperature during the colder months. However, summer can be challenging; since the room faces the road, opening the windows for ventilation lets in a lot of insects. The location is exceptionally convenient. It is very close to EPFL, with a bus stop right next to the building, and the M1 metro station is just a 5-minute walk away. Having the Aldi downstairs is also incredibly practical for daily shopping. While the accommodation is expensive, the quality and services are excellent. One critical piece of advice for departing tenants: ensure the room is completely flawless upon move-out. Management is extremely strict during the inspection and will charge disproportionate amounts for minor imperfections.

The building offers great facilities, including a gym and shared living spaces that make it easy to relax and meet other students. One of the biggest advantages is the convenience: there is an Aldi right downstairs, and several other supermarkets nearby. The campus is also very accessible, only about 10 minutes away by bus, which makes daily life much easier. Another great aspect is the reception service, which is very helpful. It is possible to borrow vacuum cleaners, and the staff are always available to answer questions and assist residents when needed. In addition, residents can change their bed sheets every two weeks, which is very convenient and helps maintain a comfortable living environment.
One of the great advantages is the location I would say. The residence is 20min walking from UNIL/EPFL while being well connected (Bus, Renens train station and M1 metro station nearby). Several groceries are available nearby and you'll find a top-tier gym in the neighboring building. The residence also contains a study/common room as well as a small fitness room. From my experience the only drawbacks were noise disturbances coming from the road or from other residents. Overall I had a very good experience.
